POSITION: – Lab Technical Manager DESIRED PROFILE: - We are seeking an experienced Lab Technical Manager to lead and oversee operations across our Metallurgical Testing Laboratories. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background and proven leadership experience in corrosion, mechanical, chemical, and metallography testing in a lab certified to ISO 17025 standards. The candidate should bring strong customer service orientation, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence and growth. EDUCATION AND QUIALIFICATION: – Diploma in MET / B.E.-B.Tech Metallurgy / Masters in Metallurgy. ROLES & RESPONSIBILETIES: - Lead and manage all laboratory operations including mechanical, chemical, and metallographic testing. Ensure compliance and maintain accreditation under ISO 17025 and related quality management systems. Establish and monitor Laboratory Operational Management Systems (OMS) to ensure efficiency, traceability, and quality. Handle reporting, test validation, and issue of results with precision and within turnaround time commitments. Supervise laboratory staff, ensure continuous training and development, and foster a culture of safety and quality. Engage in failure analysis investigations and deliver accurate root cause analyses for various components. Contribute to business development through technical marketing, client presentations, and proposal support. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Mandatory Experience in: ISO 17025 lab management Corrosion testing, Mechanical testing, Chemical analysis, Metallography test Report preparation and technical communication Handling customer complaints and technical queries Strong Advantage if Experience in: Failure analysis Non-metallic materials such as elastomers, plastomer, composites Powder metallurgy or additive manufacturing Marketing and client relationship development Preferred Past Employment: Candidates with experience at TCR, Element, Metallurgical Services, or ELDA Laboratory will be given strong preference. SOFT SKILLS: - Visionary leadership and decision-making skills Strong written and verbal communication in English People management and mentoring ability Customer-focused with a quality-first approach Strategic planning and business acumen EXPERIENCE: - 10 to 15 Years (At least 5 years as Lab Manager) Contact N0- 8824674740 LOCATION: - Vadodara, Gujarat.
