Job Description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with key online retail partners. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth, enhance brand presence, and ensure a seamless customer experience across eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce sales, a strategic mindset, and excellent relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with key eCommerce partners. Serve as the main point of contact for account-related inquiries, negotiations, and issues.
  • Sales Strategy:

    Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share on eCommerce platforms. Identify and implement opportunities for product promotion and cross-selling.
  • Performance Optimization:

    Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) such as sales volume, conversion rates, and customer feedback. Utilize insights to optimize account performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative Planning:

    Work closely with internal teams (marketing, logistics, product management) to align strategies, coordinate promotions, and resolve operational issues. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Market Insights:

    Stay updated on eCommerce trends, industry developments, and competitor activities. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leverage market opportunities.
  • Reporting:

    Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales metrics, and strategic initiatives to management. Track progress against targets and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Customer Experience:

    Ensure an exceptional customer experience by addressing and resolving any issues or concerns promptly. Work with eCommerce partners to enhance product listings, optimize user experience, and drive customer satisfaction.

Ideally the candidate should be specialized in Ecom business and can handle all the national platforms for Ecommerce business. Should have worked on digital marketing part (operationally).

Should from FMCG ideally food and handling Ecom business for minimum 4 to 5 years .
