Role Overview

As a Key Account Manager – Institutional Sales, you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships with educational institutions (colleges, universities, training academies) to promote CareerTiQ’s academic and industry-aligned programs. Reporting directly to the MD & CEO, you will be entrusted with managing high-value institutional relationships, delivering measurable outcomes, and upholding CareerTiQ’s commitment to academic and industry excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new institutional clients (colleges, universities, training centers) to expand CareerTiQ’s market footprint.
  • Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to achieve enrollment and revenue targets.
  • Conduct high-impact presentations, product demos, and workshops for institutional decision-makers and faculty.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, MoUs, and commercial terms.
  • Manage post-sales engagement to ensure smooth onboarding, training delivery, and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (program delivery, marketing, academic experts) to tailor solutions for client needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the education sector.
  • Maintain accurate account records, pipeline updates, and reports in the CRM.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–6 years of experience in institutional sales, B2B partnerships, or EdTech business development.
  • Prior experience in the EdTech industry is highly desirable

     to align with CareerTiQ’s growth strategy.
  • Fluency in English

     is a must; proficiency in additional Indian languages is an advantage.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, reporting) and all MS Office/365 tools

     including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across India.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and virtual meeting platforms.
