Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales Execution
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned oncology products.
Develop and execute strategic territory business plans to drive growth and market penetration.Identify and engage key decision-makers within hospitals, cancer centers, and other healthcare institutions.Promote product awareness effectively among oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure clinical adoption.
- Key Account & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with oncologists, hospital administrators, procurement teams, and other stakeholders.
Offer scientific and commercial support to healthcare providers to encourage brand preference and loyalty.Understand customer requirements to tailor solutions that optimize patient outcomes and treatment adherence.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and changes in regulatory frameworks.
Gather actionable insights from the field to inform marketing, medical, and strategic planning teams.Identify market gaps and opportunities to strengthen product positioning and differentiation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with medical, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and impactful brand messaging.
Support the execution of marketing campaigns, CME programs, and other medical education initiatives.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product availability and supply chain efficiency.
Adhere strictly to internal policies, ethical standards, and all relevant healthcare regulations.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, market feedback, and sales activities.Provide timely reports on sales performance, market challenges, and recommended actions for continued growth.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Healthcare Management is preferred.
Industry Experience
Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong focus on oncology products and therapeutic areas.
Therapeutic Knowledge
In-depth understanding of oncology therapies, treatment pathways, and the evolving oncology landscape.
Sales Performance
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs in a competitive environment.
Customer Engagement
Proven experience in building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders, including oncologists, hospital decision-makers, and procurement teams.
Core Competencies
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver complex scientific information effectively.
