Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Key Account Manager to handle and nurture relationships with some of our most important UK clients. You will be the client’s primary contact for any energy-related queries and will also act as their representative when liaising with suppliers. A key part of this role is reviewing and validating energy bills to ensure accuracy and fairness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day communication with assigned key clients in the UK business energy sector.
  • Act as the client’s representative when dealing with energy suppliers to sort out queries, disputes, and clarifications.
  • Review and validate customer energy bills to ensure charges are correct and contracts are being honoured.
  • Provide clear updates and resolutions to clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to support retention and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate internally with the sales, operations, and compliance teams to deliver seamless service.
  • Stay updated on UK energy market changes, tariffs, and contract rules to provide clients with relevant advice.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communication, actions taken, and supplier interactions using the CRM system.
  • Handle renewals, account reviews, and suggest appropriate energy deals based on client usage and contract timelines.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an Account Management or Customer Success role, preferably in the UK process.
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written) - must be confident and clear when speaking with UK clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to problem-solve and follow up persistently with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to work UK hours is required.
