Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating UI/UX designs into responsive, high-performance web interfaces and applications. You’ll collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to build seamless, user-friendly experiences across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing and maintaining user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Build and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code.
• Collaborating with designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
• Ensuring web applications are responsive and cross-browser compatible.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to team discussions.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues in a timely manner.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and trends.
• Working with RESTful APIs to display and manipulate data from the back-end.
• Using Git for version control and collaboration using pull requests and code reviews.
• Incorporating feedback from QA, stakeholders, or user testing to improve usability.
• Ensuring the application works consistently across modern browsers.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years of professional experience in front-end web development, preferably using React.js, with a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Proficient in CSS/SCSS, HTML5 and Javascript. Experience with responsive and mobile-first design. Knowledge of Flexbox, CSS Grid, media queries, and animations.
• Strong knowledge of React.js - Understanding of components, props, state, and component lifecycle methods.
• Styling in React - Experience with CSS modules, styled-components, Tailwind, or traditional CSS/SCSS.
• Basic State Management - Familiarity with state lifting, context API, or tools like Redux (basic knowledge is enough for junior level).
• Ability to fetch and display data from external APIs using fetch, axios, or similar tools.
• Experience working in team environments, ideally in Agile or Scrum-based workflows.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
