Junior Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in project coordination or project management, with strong communication and organizational skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, support senior project managers, and ensure smooth delivery of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in creating project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

• Coordinate daily project activities and follow up with team members on task progress.

• Help in defining project scope, requirements, and deliverables.

Project Execution & Monitoring

• Track project milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies.

• Maintain project documentation, including status reports, MOMs, and dashboards.

• Support the team in ensuring deliverables are completed as per quality and client requirements.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a point of contact for internal teams and clients for updates and clarifications.

• Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.

• Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify and report project risks, delays, and blockers.

• Assist in implementing mitigation strategies and monitoring their effectiveness.

Process & Quality Management

• Ensure adherence to organizational PM processes, standards, and compliance requirements.

• Participate in quality checks before delivery and support UAT coordination.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

• 1+ year of experience as a Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager in the IT industry.

• Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.

• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, MS Project, etc.).

• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage small to medium tasks effectively.

Preferred

• Certification in project management (CAPM, Scrum Master, Agile Fundamentals) is a plus.

• Experience in client communication and vendor coordination.

• Basic knowledge of IT systems, APIs, and software development workflows.
