JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER - Digital Transformation

Pixirus is seeking a Project Manager for its Quality Control and Bibliographic Data Unit, a pivotal role at the intersection of content management, quality assurance, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will lead high-impact projects with a strong focus on data measurement, quality metrics, and performance tracking. You will ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and client expectations, but also comply with rigorous bibliographic and metadata quality standards.

As a strategic leader, you will implement structured project management methodologies (PRINCE2 certification is a plus) and establish clear data-driven indicators to continuously monitor and improve performance across all phases of the project lifecycle.

OBJECTIVES

• Design and implement measurable quality control frameworks tailored to bibliographic and metadata processes.
• Drive performance through data and KPIs, ensuring every deliverable meets quantitative and qualitative standards.
• Establish rigorous workflows and reporting systems to monitor productivity, error rates, and compliance.
• Lead the team by providing clear direction, measurable goals, and regular progress evaluations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management and production processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define project scope, objectives, and KPIs in alignment with client and internal quality standards.
• Build and enforce data measurement tools (dashboards, audits, reports) to track quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate project staff, assigning responsibilities and ensuring adherence to milestones.
• Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration to maintain alignment on scope, budget, and schedule.
• Produce transparent, data-backed reports .
• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and long-term development of technical staff in the quality control unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years’ experience in project management or quality control, ideally in publishing, libraries, archives, or digital content processing.
• Proven expertise in quality measurement frameworks, KPI development, and data-driven performance monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies; PRINCE2 certification (or equivalent) highly valued.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and rigor.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French is an asset.
