Position: Junior Presales & IIoT Implementation Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Presales & IIoT Implementation Engineer (0–2 years experience) who will work closely with senior presales and project teams to support technical activities, solution preparation, and on-site deployment. The role is focused on technical learning, field execution, gateway/sensor configuration, documentation, and supporting senior engineers in delivering IIoT and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Understanding & Hands-On Learning

• Basic understanding of IIoT devices: sensors, transmitters, gateways, RTUs, Remote I/Os.
• Familiarity with digital/analog signals and process instruments (temperature, flow, pressure, level).
• Exposure to PLC, HMI, SCADA concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
• Basic understanding of communication protocols: Modbus, MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee (can be learned on job).
• Learn to configure IoT gateways, protocol converters, and industrial networking setups.

2. Requirement Study & Technical Support

• Participate in site surveys with senior engineers to understand plant layouts and data collection feasibility.
• Assist in identifying required signals, available instrumentation, and connectivity options.
• Gather technical information and prepare internal requirement notes.
• Support the presales team with preliminary technical insights.

3. Solution Design Support (Under Senior Guidance)

• Work under the guidance of senior engineers to prepare solution documents, wiring diagrams, and SRS drafts.
• Assist in comparing hardware/OEM options and collecting technical specifications.
• Help in preparing PoCs, demos, and small prototype setups for validation.
• Contribute to creating technical presentations and solution notes.

4. Project Rollout & Field Execution (Primary Responsibility)

• On-site installation and configuration of IIoT sensors, gateways, protocol converters, and communication networks.
• Support wiring checks, signal verification, and troubleshooting.
• Perform device configuration, connectivity testing, and data validation.
• Help conduct testing activities and document results.
• Prepare installation reports, test reports, and field documentation.
• Provide basic post-implementation support and remote troubleshooting.

5. Client Coordination (Basic-Level Interaction)

• Coordinate client visits, installation schedules, material readiness, and basic technical clarifications.
• Support senior engineers during technical discussions and client presentations.
• Ensure timely communication and follow-ups for smooth execution.

6. Vendor & OEM Coordination (Support Role)

• Interact with vendors/OEMs for datasheets, technical clarifications, and material availability.
• Collect quotations and product details under supervision.
• Help evaluate compatible components as per project needs.

7. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain site survey reports, wiring notes, installation documents, checklists, and logs.
• Adhere to internal SOPs for version control, backups, and documentation format.
• Assist in preparing deployment summaries, case studies, and learning documents.

8. Learning, Training & Skill Development

• Participate in internal training sessions on IIoT, automation, communication protocols, and cloud IoT platforms.
• Develop basic programming skills (Python/C), database basics, and understanding of edge devices.
• Continuously improve knowledge of instrumentation, networking, and industrial processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields).

Experience: 0–2 years in IIoT, automation, field engineering, instrumentation, or presales support.

Technical Skills (Expected or Willing to Learn):

• IIoT sensors & gateways

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
