Role Overview:

The Business Development Manager – IOT Led Digital Transformation (DX) will drive direct sales and develop regional channel and partner ecosystems to achieve revenue targets for our Digital Transformation platform, IoT, and AR portfolios. The role involves strategic sales initiatives, partner engagement, and nurturing enterprise client relationships to support sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve quarterly/annual revenue targets for DX, IoT, and AR solutions within the region.
  • Engage in direct sales, prospecting high-growth clients, and closing multi-year contracts.

Channel & Partner Ecosystem

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with system integrators, distributors, and consultants.
  • Drive partner integration, sales enablement, and joint go-to-market initiatives.

Sales Process & Forecasting

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, utilizing a defined sales methodology.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, deal statuses, and CRM records for sales leadership.

Account & Territory Planning

  • Develop concise account and territory plans to consistently meet sales targets.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews and update action plans with sales and technical teams.

Customer-Centric Solutions

  • Present business solutions to senior decision-makers, focusing on outcomes and economic value.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to address customer requirements and enhance value propositions.

Sales Team Development

  • Mentor and coach sales colleagues to build a high-performing, motivated sales team.
  • Develop and implement strategies for long- and short-term sales and marketing impact.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications

    : Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering with 10-12 years in solution-based selling, preferably in IoT, AR, or channel sales.
  • Skills

    : Strong consultative sales skills, competitive personality, and excellent communication.
  • Experience

    : Industry knowledge in Manufacturing, Pharma, CPG, Utilities, or related sectors, with familiarity in Industry 4.0, IoT/IIoT, and subscription-based sales models.
  • Attributes

    : Demonstrated ability to engage senior management, focused on value-driven selling.
