1. Lab Maintenance and Support: Ensure smooth operation of AI/ML lab equipment, software, and hardware (including servers, workstations, and peripherals). This includes installation, configuration, updating, and maintenance of computing hardware and software. Troubleshooting technical issues related to lab systems and software.
2. Student & Faculty Assistance: Assist students and researchers in setting up AI/ML experiments and guide them in using lab resources (GPUs, cloud platforms, datasets). This includes scheduling resources, logistics support, assisting faculty in AI-related research projects, and help with data preprocessing, model training, and testing.
3. Administrative Duties: Maintain lab inventory (hardware, software licenses, datasets) and schedule, help manage the webpage, and assist in organizing AI workshops, hackathons, and training sessions.
The work hours would be split in a way that the lab is operational later in the day and over the weekends when students can best access it
