Job Summary

As the Junior Instructional Designer at Bell Immersive Technology Solutions, you will contribute to the design and development of high-quality E-learning content for corporate training programs. You will work closely with the Lead Instructional Designer and other team members to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work through the phases of design and development & provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.
  • Analyse and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design & set ID end goals and create content that matches them.
  • Work along with stakeholders and ID leads to understand and take forward the solution approach and design to the development and execution phase.
  • Develop course content, including hands-on exercises based on extensive personal experience with the subject matter, interaction with other subject matter experts, and use of existing documentation and requirements. Apply effective use of learning principles.
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc). Formulate modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders.
  • Need to develop a deep understanding of the assigned areas and customer needs, plan and prioritize content work, take corrective measures to improve content based on feedback and metrics, and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

  • Should take ownership of the tasks assigned to him/her.
  • Should respond quickly to new/changing priorities, as well as thrive in an environment where you work closely with others, and deliver content that is both highly visible and of high impact.
  • Take up the leadership role in the team when required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • Some experience or internship exposure in instructional design, preferably with exposure to E-learning for corporate training.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with E-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of instructional design, with a proactive attitude towards professional development.
