Junior Content Writer

Job Title: Content Writer (Junior / Mid-level)

Primary Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Write clear, engaging content for blogs, landing pages, website sections, and e-mailers
• Create SEO-friendly content with guidance from the marketing team
• Assist in developing monthly content calendars
• Write product-related content such as feature updates, campaign messaging, and newsletters
• Research industry trends and turn them into compelling written pieces
  

Social Media Support

• Draft captions and content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X, Threads, and Facebook
• Work with the design/video team to develop visually engaging posts, Reels, and carousels
• Track basic performance metrics like reach, engagement, and impressions
• Help manage community interactions—replying to comments, DMs, and mentions
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SEO, design, performance marketing, and product teams as needed
• Assist in preparing internal communication content like emails, event posts, and employer branding materials
• Support influencer or UGC campaigns with research, copywriting, or content ideas
• Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging
  

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in content writing, social media, or copywriting (startup or agency experience preferred)
• Strong writing and editing skills across long-form and short-form formats
• Basic understanding of content SEO and keyword usage
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field
  

Good to Have

• Experience with content tools like Notion, Trello, Grammarly, or Google Analytics
• Basic knowledge of SEO tools (Ubersuggest, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
• Basic design or editing skills using Canva or CapCut
• Exposure to Instagram Reels / video scripts
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper, or SurferSEO for content assistance
