The World Legal Regulatory Council (WLRC) invites highly motivated and specialized Recent Law Graduates to join our intensive 3-month Legal Internship Program. This role offers structured, hands-on exposure to the cutting edge of Cyber Law, FinTech Compliance, and Complex Dispute Resolution.

You will work directly with senior practitioners, gaining practical experience in drafting high-stakes regulatory opinions, analyzing evolving digital law, and supporting corporate compliance strategy. This program is designed to transform academic knowledge into specialized legal expertise and offers direct mentorship under a Senior Associate specializing in Regulatory Compliance.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities

Cyber & Financial Regulatory Analysis: Conduct high-level research on recent amendments to the IT Act, RBI/SEBI regulations, and international data privacy frameworks.

Legal Drafting & Documentation: Draft specialized legal documents including technology contracts, regulatory compliance manuals, and high-stakes petitions related to corporate disputes.

Case Strategy & Research: Perform in-depth case law analysis, synthesize findings into actionable legal memos, and support senior counsel in developing strategy for complex compliance and dispute resolution matters.

Client Interview & Support: Assist in preparing for and attending high-level client discussions, focusing on documenting instructions and drafting professional legal correspondence.

Compliance Framework Support: Participate in creating and refining compliance checklists and internal legal policies for corporate clients, ensuring adherence to consumer protection and financial fraud laws.

Strategic Legal Initiatives: Assist the management team with focused research and comparative analysis on emerging legal sectors for potential WLRC expansion.

✅ Eligibility & Specialized Focus

Strict Eligibility: Only recent law graduates (degree completed) are eligible to apply.

Specialized Interest: A strong academic background or demonstrated practical interest (via coursework, research papers, or prior internships) in Cyber Law, Financial Law, or Regulatory Compliance is highly preferred.

Core Skills: Excellent command of English and Hindi (written and verbal) and exceptional analytical/research abilities are mandatory.

Professionalism: Must be proactive, responsible, and committed to maintaining absolute professional integrity and confidentiality.

💰 Compensation & Career Pathway

The compensation for this 3-month full-time internship is a consolidated monthly payment of upto ₹10,000 (INR). This amount includes both the stipend and any applicable travel allowance. Outstanding performance may also qualify the intern for a Performance-Based Bonus.

Punctuality & Communication: Reliable attendance and timely completion of tasks are essential. Unjustified delays or failure to respond to communication on more than three occasions may lead to termination.

Proactiveness: Interns are expected to take initiative, seek clarification, and contribute actively to team discussions and assignments.
