About The Opportunity

A fast-moving company in the travel & tourism sector, specialising in end-to-end tour packaging, reservations, and travel logistics for domestic and international customers. We deliver high-touch travel experiences across leisure, corporate, and group segments by combining strong supplier relationships with operational excellence and responsive customer service.We are hiring a Junior Assistant Manager (Remote, India) to own day-to-day booking operations, customer communication, vendor coordination, and process improvements that keep bookings accurate, on-time, and profitable.Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end booking operations: create and confirm itineraries, reservations, ticketing, and travel documentation for domestic and international clients.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and post-booking changes—provide timely quotes, amendments, cancellations, and refunds while meeting SLA targets.
  • Coordinate with hotels, airlines, ground transport, and third-party vendors to secure rates, confirm inventory, and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and reservation records (PNRs, invoices, payment reconciliations) and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives—identify recurring issues, propose fixes, and help implement best practices for bookings and documentation.
  • Coach and assist junior agents; escalate complex cases to senior operations and ensure smooth handoffs for high-touch client accounts.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 2+ years experience in travel/tour operations, reservations, or ticketing (agency or OTA environment).
  • Practical experience with GDS (Amadeus, Sabre) or major OTA booking platforms and PNR management.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, excellent English communication skills, and proven problem-solving under pressure.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with corporate travel, MICE, or packaged tours, and familiarity with BSP and supplier invoicing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and remote collaboration platforms (Slack/Teams/Zoom).
