Job Title: Junior Architect (Candidates from Mumbai with 1-2 years of experience)

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

The Architect will support senior architects and project teams in the design and execution of architectural projects. The role includes assisting in drafting, modeling, site analysis, and project documentation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop design skills, gain practical experience, and contribute to innovative architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design Support: Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, sketches, and concepts under the guidance of senior architects.

· Drafting & Modeling: Create technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, or other design software.

· Project Documentation: Prepare project documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and presentations.

· Site Visits & Analysis: Conduct site visits to gather data, take measurements, and observe conditions that inform design decisions.

· Collaboration: Work closely with other team members (engineers, contractors, consultants) to ensure design concepts are feasible and meet project requirements.

· Research & Development: Stay up-to-date with design trends, building codes, and materials to enhance the design process.

· Client Interaction: Occasionally interact with clients to understand their needs and present design ideas (depending on project scope).

· Quality Assurance: Ensure that all design work meets quality standards and complies with building regulations and safety requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.

· Experience: 1-2 years of experience in architecture or design.

· Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other architectural software (knowledge of BIM is a plus).

· Attention to Detail: Strong ability to create accurate, detailed architectural drawings.

· Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to address design challenges with creativity and practicality

· Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

· Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines on multiple projects.

Additional Requirements:

· Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations

· Strong interest in sustainable design and environmental considerations.

· Portfolio of work or academic projects demonstrating design ability (required for application)

Work Environment:

· Office-based with occasional site visits.

· Fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple ongoing projects.
