Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role involves preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, handling tax-related matters, and supporting budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records in compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Process payroll and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, GST, etc.).

• Prepare and file tax returns as per government regulations.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning.

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws.

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Miracle) and MS Excel.

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

Work Conditions:

• Occasional overtime during month-end or audit periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,094.67 - ₹28,000.00 per month
