We are looking for a motivated and talented Junior Architect who shares our passion for sustainability and design excellence.

Position Summary

The Junior Architect will work directly under the supervision of a Senior Architect or Project Lead, playing a critical support role across all phases of architectural projects, from conceptual design through construction documentation and site supervision. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in sustainable and innovative design within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Documentation:

• Assist in the development of architectural designs and concepts, with a focus on sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and 3D models using BIM and CAD software.
• Contribute to the selection and research of building materials, with an emphasis on sustainable and locally sourced options.
• Assist in the preparation of complete Construction Document sets and project specifications.
• Help ensure all designs and documentation comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and Archifella's sustainable design standards.

Project Support & Collaboration:

• Participate in client meetings and presentations, assisting in the visualization of design concepts (e.g., 3D renderings, mood boards).
• Conduct initial site analysis, research on project requirements, and zoning/code analysis.
• Collaborate effectively with the internal design team, engineers, and external consultants.
• Assist in project coordination and managing documentation throughout all project phases.
• Visit construction sites to observe progress, assist with quality control, and prepare site visit reports.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in architectural software, including AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
• Strong visual presentation skills and proficiency in 3D modeling/rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods.
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

• Prior internship or professional experience in an architectural firm.
• Knowledge or demonstrated interest in sustainable design, green building principles or eco-friendly construction techniques (e.g., mud construction).
• Autocad,Revit,Sketchup any rendering software like Enscape / Twinmotion / Lumion / Blender / D5 Render.
• A strong portfolio showcasing both design and technical abilities.
