Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Manage Accounting Transactions o Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, and expenses. o Ensure accurate ledger and journal entries. 2. Budgeting & Financial Forecasting o Assist in preparing budget forecasts based on company operations and expenses. o Monitor expenditures and financial performance to align with budget goals. 3. Financial Reporting & Closings o Prepare and publish financial statements in a timely manner. o Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with accuracy. o Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity to management. 4. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management o Process supplier invoices for milk, ghee, packaging materials, and other purchases. o Track vendor payments and follow up on pending dues. o Generate and manage customer invoices and ensure timely collections. 5. Bank Reconciliation & Payments o Reconcile company accounts with bank statements and identify discrepancies. o Ensure timely bank payments for suppliers and operational expenses. 6. Tax Compliance & Financial Regulations o Compute taxes and prepare GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings. o Maintain tax records for audits and compliance with financial regulations. 7. Inventory & Cost Accounting o Track inventory movements, including raw milk, ghee, packaging materials, and finished products. o Assist in cost analysis for production, logistics, and profitability. 8. Audits & Financial Data Security o Audit financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy. o Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and conduct database backups when necessary. o Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial records.
