We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join our production team in the sheet metal fabrication division. The GET will undergo structured on-the-job training, working closely with senior engineers and supervisors to gain hands-on experience in production processes, quality control, and shop floor management. Role & responsibilities Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily production activities. Learn and support sheet metal fabrication processes such as laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and roll forming. Monitor machine operations and ensure adherence to production schedules. data collection & report preparation. Identify and troubleshoot minor production and process issues under supervision. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Support initiatives for process improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards on the shop floor. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Design. Maintain production records, shift reports, and documentation as required. Assist in conducting time and motion studies, capacity planning, and workflow optimization. Required Skills and Competencies : Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and production planning. Familiarity with mechanical drawings, GD&T, and fabrication tolerances. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
