Job Description

Monitor and supervise the daily operations within the paint shop to ensure efficiency and high-quality output.
Ensure adherence to all established quality standards and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Coordinate with the production team to align painting schedules with overall production timelines and objectives.
Identify areas for improvement in paint application techniques and implement training programs to enhance staff skills.
Maintain inventory of all painting materials and supplies, ensuring timely procurement and proper storage.
Analyze and report on paint shop performance metrics, suggesting improvements where necessary.
Act as a point of contact between the paint shop and other departments to facilitate smooth operations and communication.
Handle any technical issues in the paint application process and oversee necessary adjustments or repairs.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a paint shop.
Strong understanding of quality control principles and best practices.
Familiarity with safety regulations relevant to a paint shop environment.
Ability to work effectively onsite in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, India, with a commitment to local working hours and conditions.
Experience with monitoring operational processes to ensure quality and efficiency is maintained.
Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team and collaborate with different departments.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address and resolve operational challenges swiftly.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of paint shop personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Develop and manage processes for improving paint application efficiency and reducing waste.
Implement corrective actions in response to identified quality control issues.
Coordinate ongoing maintenance and repair work for painting equipment and facilities.
Ensure that all personnel are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
Track and analyze paint usage and productivity to optimize resource allocation and drive cost-effectiveness.
