Minimum years of relevant experience: 12 years of relevant petrophysics experience in an integrated oil and gas company, working in exploration, field appraisal, development, production or well planning. Must have experiences/skills: Highly proficient in a well log interpretation package, ideally Techlog and Petrel. Experience with (and understanding of) most cased and open hole logging tools and interpretation methods, including advanced logs such as image logs, NMR, tri-axial resistivity, formation pressures, fluid sample acquisition and analysis. Knowledge of reservoir quality from core including routine core analysis, petrography, mercury injection data, grain size analysis, relative permeability etc. The ability to construct a rock type description to match to, and predict from, log-based measurements. Experience with construction of petrophysical models and facies schemes appropriate for geological model building. A track record of strong multi-disciplinary communication needed to deliver static models and understand their dynamic behaviour. Skilled in characterising and communicating subsurface uncertainty, risk and value.
