Role & responsibilities: Oversee and manage overall a medium scale injection moulding plant operations to ensure smooth functioning. Primary responsibility for unit P&L To lead a team of around 200-250 workforce including AMs, engineers, supervisors and operators, while ensuring high morale & motivation Plan and control daily operations to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of Quality & Delivery. Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and drive zero-defect manufacturing, wastage and scrap reduction. Monitor and improve productivity, efficiency, and OEE. Implement best practices like lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, CAPA, Root Cause analysis and TPM practices to optimize operations. Ensure statutory compliance, liaison with government and local body agencies, EHS & safety compliances. Spearhead automation & digitalization. Collaborate with R&D, tooling, and product development teams for new projects. Manage preventive and predictive maintenance of machines, moulds, and equipment. Responsible for budgeting and Capex. Primary responsibility for unit P&L. Control operational costs and implement cost-saving initiatives. Lead, motivate, and develop the operations team to build skills and maintain discipline.
