Strong understanding of Mechanical components, materials and manufacturing processes. 13. Familiarity with NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT) for defect detections. 14. Knowledge of welding process, procedure and acceptance criteria (ASME, AWS, API Codes). 15. Ability to assess material properties, Mill test certificate (MTC), and compliance with standards. 16. Understanding of ASME, API and ISO code for pressure equipment. 17. Knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbine, boilers, heat exchangers etc. 18. Familiarity with Industry standards and codes like ASME (BPVC, B31.3), API(510, 570, 635, 650), AWS (D1.1, D9.5), ASTM, DIN, EN Standards.
