About the Role In this opportunity as Varicent Developer you will: Support the Varicent application and its dependent systems. Provide detailed root cause analysis on system defects/bugs and suggest potential solutions along with change and risk assessments. Develop, maintain, and optimize Varicent calculations, reports, and other tools within the application. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights as directed. Assist with data load processes. Create and maintain technical documentation for logic flows, user interfaces, data stores, workflows, etc. Document key decisions made, dependencies, potential issues, and critical tasks related to assigned projects. About You Youre a fit for the role of Varicent Developer if your background includes: 6+ years of experience with compensation management tools with 4+ years of experience with the Varicent sales compensation software/application Experience building and maintaining configuration tables based on the business changing needs. Extensive experience building and maintaining the calculations within the Varicent model. Experience with data mapping, workflow construction, report design and build, and ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes for data integration tasks. Database query design, data handling and data integration skills (SQL, Excel) Programming Language proficiency (JavaScript, Python, Groovy) Use industry experience to identify the best solutions for system improvements. Configure Varicent products based on customer requirements. Consult customers on proven / recommended approaches to satisfy their requests.
