Job Description

The Jewellery Store Manager is responsible for leading store operations, achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of product knowledge and store presentation. This role requires strong leadership, sales expertise, and the ability to manage premium or luxury customers with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive store sales and meet monthly/annual revenue targets.
  • Develop strategies to increase footfall and conversion rates.
  • Monitor KPIs such as ASP (Average Selling Price), ATV (Average Transaction Value), UPT (Units Per Transaction), and customer retention.
  • Implement upselling, cross-selling, and clienteling techniques.

2. Customer Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Handle VIP clients and high-value transactions professionally.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of jewellery trends, gemstones, metals, certifications, and craftsmanship.

3. Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, motivate, and mentor sales staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
  • Create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Set sales goals for team members and track performance.

4. Store Operations

  • Oversee inventory management, stock audits, and shrinkage control.
  • Ensure proper display, merchandising, and cleanliness of the store.
  • Manage billing operations, cash handling, and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain documentation related to sales, repairs, exchanges, and certifications.

5. Security & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to security protocols for high-value inventory.
  • Monitor CCTV, vault management, and secure handling of jewellery.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements (BIS Hallmarking, GST, invoicing, etc.).

6. Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Provide insights on customer trends, stock rotation, and market movement.
  • Coordinate with head office departments (marketing, merchandising, HR, finance).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
