About the Role

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain

  automated test scripts using QTP/UFT

  .
• Create and maintain

  automation scripts in Java using Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to define test requirements.
• Perform

  functional, regression, and performance testing

  as required.
• Develop and maintain

  BDD frameworks

  (Cucumber) and follow automation best practices.
• Execute

  API test cases

  using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, provide detailed defect reports using ALM/Quality Center or similar tools.
• Maintain complete

  test documentation

  , ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospective).
• Continuously improve automation coverage and optimize test frameworks.
