Job Summary:

Java Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Develop and integrate APIs and external services.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Ensure security and data protection compliance.
• Maintain documentation for software development and deployment processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer or Java Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Java (preferably Java 8 or above), OOP, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, or JPA.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
• Proficient in version control tools like Git.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
