Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Italian Legal Consultant

to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of Italian and international legal expertise to support our clients with a wide range of legal services, particularly in cross-border transactions, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal consultation and advisory services to Italian and international clients operating in India.
Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct research on Indian laws and regulations to ensure compliance and support client needs.
Work on cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders as required.
Support the firm's business development initiatives by participating in client meetings and events.
Collaborate with the global team to address complex legal matters.

Requirements

A law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized university; an LL.M. is preferred.
Admission to the bar in Italy or another EU jurisdiction.
3+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably with a focus on corporate law, international law, or cross-border transactions.
Strong understanding of Indian legal and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
