Job Description

Position Title: IT Executive
Department: Information Technology
Location: Forward Life Pvt Ltd, Ameerpet
Reporting To: IT Admin Head

Role Overview

The IT Executive will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system uptime, data security, and providing end-user technical assistance. The role involves hands-on management of hardware, software, and networking, along with proactive IT process improvement and cross-departmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

A. IT Infrastructure & Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi networks.
  • Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure and ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to employees for hardware and software issues.
  • Manage user accounts, email IDs, and access permissions.
  • Perform timely software updates, antivirus scans, and patch installations.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory with AMC/warranty tracking.
  • Implement and monitor firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint security.
  • Manage local and cloud data backups and perform restoration testing.
  • Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement, repairs, and system upgrades.
  • Monitor website hosting, SSL renewals, and server uptime.
  • Support remote employees with VPN setup and access configuration.

B. System & Data Security

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, IT Act).
  • Enforce IT security policies (password policies, restricted device usage, etc.).
  • Monitor access control and use of removable storage devices.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of company data at all times.

C. Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with and support other departments in their IT-related requirements, ensuring smooth inter-departmental operations and timely technical assistance.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or system/network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and LAN/WAN networks.
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office 365, and antivirus tools.
  • Understanding of data backup, IT security, and software licensing.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts as per operational requirements.
  • Must be open to cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
  • Must be willing to sign a 2-year employment agreement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
