IT Sourcing Specialist

Job Title: IT Sourcing Specialist Location: Ahmedabad Department: Talent Acquisition / HR Reports To: Recruitment Manager Position Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Sourcing Specialist to join our talent acquisition team in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and nurturing top IT talent to meet our organization's hiring needs. You will work closely with the recruitment manager and hiring teams to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify top IT talent across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.). Use Boolean search and advanced sourcing techniques to generate candidate pipelines. Conduct initial outreach and engagement with passive and active IT candidates. Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring IT roles (e.g., software engineers, DevOps, cloud architects, etc.). Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess technical fit, interest, and alignment with role expectations. Collaborate with the recruitment manager and hiring managers to understand role requirements and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Continuously improve sourcing processes by analyzing sourcing metrics and market trends. Represent the company brand in a professional and engaging manner to attract top talent. Stay updated on the latest sourcing tools, techniques, and market insights in the IT domain. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in IT sourcing, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience sourcing for various IT roles (developers, testers, architects, etc.). Strong understanding of the IT landscape, technologies, and market trends. Proficiency in using sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, GitHub, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build relationships and engage candidates in a consultative manner. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
