Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, Firewalls, VPN and wireless networks.
Need to handle network planning and architecture decisions to support business growth and scalability.
Monitor network performance and availability and proactively resolve bottlenecks or outages.
Implement and maintain network security policies, firewalls, and access control mechanisms.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalations.
Evaluate and integrate new networking tools, technologies, and best practices.
Collaboration with IT, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams on network/security Issues
Maintain up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Education / Qualifications

BE/B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 years of experience in designing, monitoring and managing the complex network environment
Expert-level knowledge of routing, switching, subnetting, VLANs, and TCP/IP protocols.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent network devices.
Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, PRTG).
Strong understanding of network security principles (firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, NAC).
Good to have understanding on cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
Experience with SD-WAN, VoIP, DNS/DHCP, load balancers, and network automation tools.
Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent.
Experience with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell).
Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes.
