IT Network Solutions Principal Engineer

As a Network Security Engineer at Hexagon, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: - Establishing network specifications by analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements. - Evaluating network performance issues and planning the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment. - Maintaining network performance through monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting. - Developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation to secure the network. - Supporting and maintaining customer or client networks and in-house servers. - Monitoring network performance, efficiency, latency, and vulnerabilities. - Handling VOIP system upgrades and monitoring security arrangements. Key Responsibilities: - Planning, engineering, and monitoring security arrangements for network systems. - Identifying, monitoring, and defining overall security requirements. - Configuring and implementing intrusion detection systems and firewalls. - Maintaining firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security. - Investigating intrusion and hacking incidents and carrying out forensic investigations. - Developing tracking documents for system vulnerabilities. - Implementing regulatory systems in accordance with IT security. - Defining and maintaining security policies. Qualifications Required: - Skillful, dynamic, and multitalented individual with certifications in Networking and hardware engineering. - Proficiency in end-to-end IT Networking administration, WAN & LAN, Antivirus Management. - Experience in maintaining and administering computer networks and related environments. - Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network problems. - Monitoring network performance, configuring virus protection software, and email applications. - Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating systems.
