IT Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Corporate IT Support and System Engineering teams.
• Foster a positive team environment by setting goals, encouraging skill development, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of corporate IT infrastructure including servers, backup systems, and applications.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems, data, and services.
• Provide high-quality technical support and resolve IT-related issues for end users.
• Develop and document processes and procedures for IT operations.
• Establish and track performance metrics using helpdesk data and user feedback.
• Plan and manage IT hardware/software upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Optimize IT expenditures by managing software licenses and contract compliance.
• Develop and test disaster recovery solutions in coordination with IT leadership.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC, ISO).
• Participate in internal and external audits and provide required documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in managing Windows, MacOS, and Linux desktop environments.
• Experience with Microsoft InTune and JAMF.
• Ability to manage and train staff on IT systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft O365, Azure AD, and Active Directory in hybrid environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and management.
• PowerShell scripting experience is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capability to thrive in a global, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
