The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, deployment, maintenance, and support of enterprise IT systems and solutions. It demands both strong technical expertise and the creativity to approach complex challenges with practical, innovative solutions. This position may necessitate occasional heavy lifting and some work outside of normal business hours. The ability to work independently within the defined framework is a must.This role is based out of Bengaluru, India
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
- Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network and server infrastructure (Cisco, Opengear, Juniper, Checkpoint, HPE, Dell, NetApp, etc.)
- Administer Windows and Linux server environments (RHEL, Ubuntu)
- Manage enterprise storage platforms, including SAN/NAS (NetApp, QNAP, Synology)
- Support virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Monitor system uptime, performance, and security across all environments
Cloud & Collaboration Tools
- Manage infrastructure across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Support hybrid environments including Azure AD, Intune, and Office 365
- Administer Exchange (on-premises and cloud), SharePoint, and Mimecast
- Maintain collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet
User Management & Support
- Provision and manage users in Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, and Intune
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for global end users and handle IT escalations
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and processes
Networking & Security
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers (Cisco, Meraki, Netgear)
- Administer DNS, DHCP, VPN, IPsec, SD-WAN, and MPLS
- Maintain and monitor endpoint protection (CrowdStrike, Cisco, Microsoft Defender)
- Manage SSL certificates and PKI across enterprise systems
- Administer security appliances, intrusion detection systems, and email/web filtering tools
Project & Operations Support
- Lead or support IT infrastructure projects, including new office builds, migrations, upgrades, vendor management etc.
- Collaborate with global IT teams and vendors to implement solutions and resolve issues
- Assist with on-site infrastructure setup and low-voltage cabling as needed
- Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and on-call rotations
AV Support
- Support AV team to set up AV network, familiar with NetGear series AV switch is preferred
- Understand IGMP protocol, multicast and QoS configuration
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms device, MTR provisions and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in enterprise networking (Cisco/Meraki), server hardware, and storage platforms
- Solid understanding of Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and security protocols
- Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Proficient in virtualization tools such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
- Familiar with email security and archiving tools like Mimecast
- Experience managing SSL certificates and implementing SSO/SAML integrations
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, etc.) are preferred
- Familiar with Zendesk ticket system and management
