Job Description

Job Profile: IT Executive (BPO Operations)

Job Summary:

The IT Executive will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing IT systems and infrastructure that enable smooth BPO operations. This includes troubleshooting system issues, managing networks, supporting end-users, ensuring data security, and coordinating with vendors for IT maintenance and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide

    technical support

    to all employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain

    computers, servers, printers, routers, switches

    , and other IT equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure

    minimum downtime

    for BPO operations.
  • Manage and maintain

    LAN/WAN connectivity

    , Wi-Fi networks, and IP telephony systems.
  • Ensure

    data backup, antivirus updates, and system security protocols

    are regularly implemented.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for

    system repairs, AMC, and IT asset procurement.

  • Maintain an

    inventory of IT assets

    , licenses, and warranties.
  • Support the

    setup of new workstations

    for new joiners and reallocate systems during shift changes.
  • Assist in implementing

    software updates, patches, and new technology tools.

  • Troubleshoot

    biometric devices, email configurations, and VPN connections.

  • Provide IT assistance for

    client calls, remote connections, and process-related tools.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of

    Windows OS, MS Office, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

  • Knowledge of

    firewalls, routers, and switches

    (Cisco/MikroTik preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of

    Active Directory, user management, and data backups.

  • Familiarity with

    VoIP and call center systems

    (dialers, softphones, CRM tools).
  • Excellent

    troubleshooting and communication skills.

  • Ability to

    work in shifts

    and handle pressure during downtime or incidents.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in

    Information Technology / Computer Science / related field.

  • 13 years of experience in

    IT support or system administration

    , preferably in a BPO or call center environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g.,

    CCNA, CompTIA A+, MCSA

    ) will be an added advantage.

Work Schedule:

  • Rotational shifts (as per BPO operations)
  • Availability for weekend or emergency IT support as required
