IT Business Senior Analyst (Data Governance)

Role Overview: As an IT Business Senior Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between business users and technologists to ensure the exchange of information is clear and effective. Your main objective will be to contribute to the continuous exploration of business performance to drive business planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data quality, control frameworks, and codification processes within the banking and finance domain. Your role will involve a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to ensure the successful delivery of data governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure alignment of Data Governance and Control Codification projects with organizational goals and regulatory requirements - Define and implement data quality frameworks, standards, and processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and codify controls for critical data elements - Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions - Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry best practices - Drive adoption of data governance tools to enhance data quality processes - Provide subject matter expertise in banking and finance to align initiatives with industry-specific requirements - Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance frameworks - Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Required Skills and Qualifications: - 8+ years of IT Business Analysis experience with a focus on Data Governance and Control Codification - Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, data lineage, and metadata management - Proficiency in data governance and data quality tools - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with control frameworks such as COSO, COBIT - Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) - Familiarity with data visualization tools for reporting and analysis - Certifications in data governance or related fields Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the role, and other job-related duties may be assigned as required.,
