IT Administrator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to oversee and maintain our company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring its security, efficiency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise across systems, networks, and security, and be capable of managing daily IT operations while contributing to long-term improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management:

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and networks, including virtual and cloud-based environments. Monitor network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Security Management:

Implement and enforce IT security policies. Configure firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus software. Apply patches and updates to safeguard against vulnerabilities.

• User & Access Management:

Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and roles. Support onboarding/offboarding and resolve access-related issues.

• Data Management:

Plan and manage data backup, disaster recovery, and system restore procedures. Regularly test recovery processes.

• Performance Monitoring:

Monitor systems and networks for performance issues, optimize configurations, and ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.

• Technical Support:

Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly.

• Automation & Scripting:

Automate routine tasks using scripting languages and tools to improve efficiency.

• Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, procedures, and IT policies. Prepare system and incident reports as required.

• Continuous Learning:

Stay updated with the latest trends in IT and cybersecurity. Recommend and help implement modern tools and technologies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of network administration, cybersecurity, and system management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
