As an IT Administrator at our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the installation, maintenance, and security of our computer systems and networks. Your role will involve managing and monitoring our network, servers, and related infrastructure to guarantee efficient and secure IT operations. You will play a crucial part in safeguarding our systems from potential threats while providing technical support to users across the organization. Your key responsibilities will include configuring, installing, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, and applications. You will perform regular system monitoring to ensure network performance and availability, implement cybersecurity measures, and update security protocols to maintain data integrity and system security. Additionally, you will be responsible for backing up critical data, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing guidance to users on IT-related topics and best practices. Furthermore, you will administer user accounts, manage access permissions, and maintain security best practices. You will support employees with technical issues related to account management, software, and hardware usage, as well as develop, implement, and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed. It will be essential for you to stay updated with technological advancements to recommend and implement new IT solutions, review and update software regularly, and monitor system resource usage for optimal performance. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of networks, servers, and computer systems, as well as experience with cybersecurity best practices and data protection, will be necessary. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms such as Windows, Linux, and macOS, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, will be beneficial.
