IT Administrator – Linux, IBM LinuxONE & Oracle Infrastructure

Job Title: IT Administrator – Linux, IBM LinuxONE & Oracle Infrastructure Location: Pune Mandatory Experience Required: · Total Experience: 8+ years in IT infrastructure roles · Strong expertise in Linux, IBM LinuxONE, and Oracle infrastructure Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator with deep knowledge of Linux , IBM LinuxONE infrastructure , and Oracle environments to manage, maintain, and optimize our critical IT infrastructure. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring system availability, performance, and security while also leading knowledge transfer sessions to upskill junior team members and ensure continuity. Key Responsibilities: · Manage and maintain Linux servers including IBM LinuxONE environments and Oracle infrastructure · Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Linux OS and Oracle components on LinuxONE · Monitor system health, perform regular backups, and ensure disaster recovery readiness · Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, and database infrastructure issues · Optimize system performance and conduct capacity planning · Implement security best practices, including patch management and vulnerability assessments · Manage Oracle database infrastructure collaboration with DBA teams · Automate routine tasks using shell scripting, Python, or other scripting languages · Lead and conduct knowledge transfer sessions and documentation for junior staff · Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades · Follow ITIL processes and ensure compliance with organizational policies Key Skills & Qualifications: · Strong experience with Linux (RedHat, SUSE, or equivalent) and IBM LinuxONE infrastructure · Familiarity with Oracle database infrastructure management on Linux platforms · Expertise in Linux shell scripting and automation · Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools · Solid understanding of storage, networking, and virtualization concepts · Knowledge of security standards, patching, and compliance · Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities · Effective communication skills for training and knowledge transfer sessions Education & Certifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field · Certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) , IBM LinuxONE Specialist , or Oracle Infrastructure certifications are a plus Reporting To: IT Infrastructure Manager / Head of Operations Why Join Us? · Work with cutting-edge IBM LinuxONE and Oracle infrastructure technologies · Opportunity to lead knowledge transfer and mentoring initiatives · Competitive compensation and career growth in a dynamic IT environment How to Apply: Submit resume to career@nectarinfotel.com with the subject line " IT Administrator – Linux, IBM LinuxONE & Oracle Infrastructure - [Your Name]."
