Position : IoT Engineer (Location Kolkata)

Job Description:

Design and Development:

• Design and develop end-to-end IoT solutions, including hardware components (sensors, microcontrollers, actuators), embedded software/firmware, and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement IoT protocols and communication standards (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRaWAN, Zigbee) to ensure seamless data exchange.
• Develop software applications and firmware for IoT devices and systems, optimizing for performance, energy efficiency, and resource constraints.
• Work with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components and ensure proper functionality.

 System Integration & Architecture:

• Build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure IoT architectures that ensure reliable data flow between devices and platforms.
• Integrate IoT systems with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT) for data collection, storage, analysis, and management.
• Implement edge computing solutions where appropriate to process data closer to the source.

 Testing and Validation:

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of IoT systems to ensure reliability stability, efficiency, and security.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical problems, debugging hardware and software issues.

 Data Management & Analytics:

• Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data collection, storage and processing pipelines from IoT devices.

 Security & Compliance:

• Implement robust security protocols and best practices to protect IoT devices, data, and networks from cyber threats.

 Research & Innovation:

• Stay updated with emerging IoT technologies, platforms, methodologies, and industry trends.
• Participate in research and development (R&D) activities to explore new solutions and drive innovation in IoT projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Mid-level 3 years of experience in IoT development, embedded systems, or a similar role.
• Required Skills:
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one or more: C/C++, Python, JavaScript.
• Hardware: Strong understanding of microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32),
• sensors, actuators, and electronic circuit design.
• IoT Protocols: Hands-on experience with IoT communication protocols like MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, etc.
• Networking: Knowledge of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa) and general networking concepts.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with at least one major cloud IoT platform (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
• Operating Systems: Familiarity with embedded operating systems (e.g., FreeRTOS, Linux for embedded systems).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per month
