Job Title: Investment Banking: Financial Modelling (Associate/Senior Associate/Delivery Lead/Delivery Manager)Location: Gurgaon (work from office)Work hours: 10am to 7pm IST/ 1pm to 10pm ISTDepartment: Investment BankingExperience Level : 2-10 yearsNotice Period-Open Immediate/ 30/60/90 Days

Job Purpose

Acuity is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Investment Banking team based in Gurgaon.Key Responsibilities -Supporting our clients on multiple industries including Consumer, IT/ BPO, Telecom, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Metal & Mining, Retail, Oil & Gas, FIG, ServicesPreparing robust financial/ transaction models by applying detailed understanding of commercial practicalities, accounting and finance knowledge, technical ability, quantitative analysis, and logicCreating financial models that capture the future operating, investing and financing activities, and helps clients determine future profitability, financial position, and riskShould be well versed with OpCo Modeling, JV Modeling, Waterfall Valuation and other IB database and research tasksConducting market analysis and develops an initial hypothesis around growth/drivers and upside potential and downside risksLeverage economic and industry knowledge to assess the validity of the financial models and reportsIdentifying critical assumptions and facts that underline valuation estimates and provides alternative approaches as requiredGenerating models and analyses as industry requirements dictate and leverages economic and market condition knowledge to assess the validity of models and reportsMeeting project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure “high client satisfaction”Conducting quality control check of the outgoing reports / packsEngaging client independently on calls and e-mailsScoping the new projects, structuring deliverables/new research productsProducing high quality informative and visually appealing presentations and deckDemonstrating strength and experience in client / requester relationship building and management, information / knowledge needs assessment

Key Competencies

  • Educational Qualification -MBA/ CFA/ CA.
  • 2-10 years of experience in the Investment banking space
  • Experience of working Investment banking projects.
  • Detailed financial analysis with knowledge / experience of working on financial statements
  • Target identification, Trading and Transaction comps
  • Benchmarking, Ratio analysis
  • Pitch book / IM support and company profiles
  • Macro-economic and industry overviews with experience working across various industries
  • Bespoke qualitative research
  • Should be able to work independently, with minimal guidance and support
  • Prior experience in handling clients directly through calls / mails
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Should be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Working knowledge of database such as Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Factset, Thomson, e tc.
