Job Description

Position: Inventory & Supply Chain Manager

Location: Multi-location (Retail Stores, Warehouse & eCommerce Operations)

Experience: Minimum 3 years in inventory management / supply chain

Reports To: Operations Head / Business Owner


Role Overview

Inventory & Supply Chain Manager


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee stock availability and maintain optimal inventory levels across 

    all warehouse, retail stores

    .
  • Execute demand forecasting, reorder planning, and safety stock management.
  • Monitor 

    stock turnover, ageing, and shrinkage

    ; take corrective actions.
  • Lead regular stock audits, reconciliations, and accuracy checks.

Supply Chain & Distribution:

  • Manage inbound logistics team (supplier to central warehouse) and outbound distribution (warehouse to stores/eCommerce orders).
  • Design efficient replenishment models to reduce stock-outs and overstock.
  • Optimize transportation and delivery costs while ensuring service levels.
  • Coordinate with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams for smooth operations.

Process & System Management:

  • Work closely with 

    ERP/POS/eCommerce platforms

     to ensure accurate stock visibility.
  • Generate MIS & dashboards on 

    stock health, sales vs. stock, and supply chain KPIs

    .
  • Introduce best practices in inventory control and warehouse processes.

Team & Leadership:

  • Lead and train warehouse teams, stock handlers and store inventory team.
  • Develop SOPs for inventory handling, transfers, and reporting.
  • Work cross-functionally with 

    Sales, Finance, and Retail Operations

     teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in 

    supply chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field

     (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years

     of proven experience in inventory management and/or supply chain.
  • Strong knowledge of 

    eCommerce/Retail operations, warehousing, and logistics

    .
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in 

    Excel, ERP systems, and inventory software

    .
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple locations, and ensure accountability.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Performance KPIs

  • Stock accuracy % (system vs. physical).
  • Inventory turnover & ageing.
  • On-time replenishment rate.
  • Shrinkage / pilferage levels.
  • Logistics cost per unit delivered.
  • Store & eCommerce fulfilment SLA adherence.
