Role Overview:

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing all inventory-related activities across warehouses, ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing losses, and maintaining high accuracy in records. The role requires strong analytical thinking, coordination with cross-functional teams, and a data-driven approach to inventory control and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and oversee all inventory control processes and policies.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely replenishment based on demand forecasts.
• Regularly reconcile physical stock with system data (ERP).
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams for efficient inventory flow.
• Implement best practices in storage, handling, and logistics to reduce shrinkage, damages, and holding costs.
• Track and report key metrics such as stock turnover, ageing, reorder levels, and stock accuracy.
• Develop and enforce cycle counting procedures and periodic audits.
• Manage inward/outward logistics and ensure timely dispatch and receipt.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and documentation standards.
• Identify areas of improvement in inventory processes and lead automation/optimization initiatives.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP / Tally / Zoho / SAP).
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in consumer goods, FMCG, or e-commerce.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
