Job Title : Inventory Manager Department : Stores & Logistics Location : Factory Reporting To : Plant Head / Operations Manager Job Summary : The Inventory Manager will be responsible for strategically managing inventory to support production and sales operations, including maintaining minimum product-wise stock levels and managing a 4-month advance stock planning cycle. The role requires coordination with procurement, production, and dispatch teams to ensure uninterrupted operations, accurate records, and effective stock control. Key Responsibilities : Advance Inventory Planning : Maintain a rolling 4-month stock planning cycle based on production forecasts and seasonal demands. Minimum Stock Levels : Set and maintain product-wise minimum stock levels to avoid production or sales delays. Inventory Monitoring & Control : Track stock of raw materials, packaging, semi-finished, and finished goods daily. System & Documentation : Ensure real-time inventory updates in ERP/software and maintain accurate documentation for stock inward/outward. Stock Verification : Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verifications and reconcile with system records. Coordination : Work closely with the production and purchase departments to maintain optimal inventory flow and avoid overstocking or stockouts. Audit & Compliance : Support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with ISO and internal company standards. Warehouse Management : Maintain organized storage systems, implement FIFO practices, and ensure safety and cleanliness. Qualifications & Skills : Master in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. Minimum 4–7 years experience in inventory/store management (preferably in manufacturing sector). Strong knowledge of ERP software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent planning, analytical, and team coordination skills. Experience with advance stock planning and inventory cycles preferred. Knowledge of ISO and audit processes is an advantage. Performance Metrics (KPIs) : Accuracy of 4-month inventory forecast % of product-wise minimum stock maintained without lapses Reduction in slow-moving or obsolete stock Inventory audit accuracy rate On-time reporting and stock availability Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
