Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for an Inventory Specialist. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and controlling physical inventory, ensuring accuracy in inventory records, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The role involves regular communication with suppliers and customers to resolve inventory-related issues, performing regular stock checks, and coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient inventory operations.

Manage and maintain real-time inventory data across studio, warehouse, and partner platforms.

Ensure stock levels are accurate, timely, and in sync across all sales channels (e-commerce, studio, pop-ups).

Automation & Process Building:

Evaluate existing manual inventory processes and suggest tools/software for automation.

Lead implementation of inventory management software (like Zoho Inventory, Unicommerce, or custom ERP tools).

Train internal teams on new tools and create SOPs for smooth operations.

Stock Audits & Reporting:

Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Generate daily/weekly/monthly stock movement reports for the team and founders.

Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination:

Liaise with production and vendors to ensure timely inward of inventory and accurate tracking of material movement.

Returns & Exchanges Management:

Maintain logs for return shipments and coordinate with the support team for exchanges, repairs, or repackaging.

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in inventory management (preferably in fashion, retail, or D2C brand environment).

Familiarity with automation tools and interest in setting up scalable systems.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Excel/Google Sheets proficiency is a must; knowledge of inventory software is a plus.

Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Bonus (Good to Have)

Experience working in a luxury or high-inventory SKU brand.

Exposure to Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.

Background in logistics or warehouse coordination.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
