Job Description

As a Regional Inventory Accounting Analyst at our global energy business, you will play a crucial role in resolving queries and reconciling refined products inventory. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and resolving Interface errors within less than 48 hours SLA, handling B2B & B2C queries independently - Reconciling Buy & Sell, bulk (Terminal), and retail activity - Researching and resolving exchange and physical inventory imbalances - Investigating and resolving exchange and storage & handling fee differences - Identifying and resolving root cause errors and internal control gaps - Maintaining internal and external business relationships effectively Key Challenges you may face in this role include: - Influencing groups with differing priorities - Adapting quickly to changing circumstances - Tailoring communication styles to suit different audiences - Dealing with complex and multi-faceted reconciling items that require strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Ability to meet month-end close and other deadlines - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Good organizational skills with attention to detail - Demonstrated bias for action, strong work ethic, and teamwork - Desirable criteria include experience in handling scheduling application WinDMS, exposure to SAP interface queues, general accounting experience, experience with financial or logistical reconciliations, demonstrated proficiency with SAP, and exposure to the Product Supply Business Educational background: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field Travel Requirement: - Negligible travel should be expected with this role Relocation Assistance: - This role is eligible for relocation within the country Remote Type: - This position is a hybrid of office/remote working Skills required for this role: - Agility core practices, Analytical Thinking, Commercial Acumen, Communication, Cost Management, Creativity and Innovation, Decision Making, Digital fluency, Inventory Management, Negotiation planning and preparation, Resilience, Risk Management, Sourcing strategy, Supplier Performance Management, Supply Chain Development, Supply chain management, Sustainability awareness and action Please note that employment may be contingent upon adherence to local policy, which may include pre-placement drug screening, medical review of physical fitness for the role, and background checks.,
