Interventional Cardiologist consultant DM drnb for Kadi Gujarat location

• Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and deliver high-quality percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), including complex and high-risk cases following guideline-directed practice.
• Lead cath‑lab case planning and execution: pre-procedure assessment, intraprocedural imaging/physiology (IVUS/OCT/FFR), device selection and post-procedure management.
• Manage acute coronary syndromes and provide on-call cardiology coverage for interventional emergencies.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements, and participate in morbidity & mortality reviews.
• Supervise and mentor cardiology trainees, nurses and cath‑lab staff; collaborate with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiology and critical care teams for multidisciplinary care pathways.
• Contribute to quality improvement, protocol development, infection control practices and performance metrics for the interventional program.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• DM or DNB in Cardiology with recognized interventional training or equivalent fellowship.
• Proven procedural proficiency in percutaneous coronary intervention and coronary angiography.
• Hands-on experience with intravascular imaging and physiology: IVUS, OCT, FFR.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Registration with the relevant Indian medical council / state medical council and eligibility to practice in India.
• Demonstrated ability to manage acute coronary syndromes and unstable patients in a high-volume cath‑lab setting.
  

Preferred

• Experience with complex PCI techniques (CTO, bifurcation, left-main interventions).
• Training or experience in structural heart interventions (e.g., TAVR, transcatheter mitral procedures).
• Exposure to rotational atherectomy and advanced atherectomy techniques.
