Job Description

You will be working as an International Sales Specialist for a tech-enabled cross-border specialty chemicals marketplace based in Mumbai. The company aims to become the largest global speciality chemicals distributor by focusing on discovery and fulfillment using a tech-first approach. In the past 20 months, the company has expanded its operations to over 32 countries and has active partnerships with hundreds of customers and suppliers. The team comprises highly ambitious individuals with experience from top institutions and companies, aiming to create a team of A-players and rockstars to achieve outstanding results. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Generate new business opportunities for the company's products & services in the US market, focusing on the Personal Care and Flavors and Fragrance Industry. - Generate high-quality leads through various methods such as cold-calling, cold emailing, attending conferences, and social media outreach. - Set ambitious revenue targets, collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sales and market strategies aligned with global directives for Chemical Sales. - Negotiate long-term contracts with key accounts and act as an advisor to them. - Develop proposals & presentations for new business opportunities and deals. - Manage existing customers, handle key accounts, and explore upsell opportunities. - Ensure customer satisfaction by being process-oriented, maintaining operational efficiency, and possessing excellent communication skills. **Skills and Qualifications:** - Minimum 6 years of experience in sales/business development with a strong network in the Chemical sector. - Experience in International Sales in the US Market. - Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability to work in high-energy, fast-paced cross-functional teams, with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, and a good network.
