Intern- Credit Risk

Reporting To: Head of Lending Risk

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically inclined intern to join our Risk team,

with a focus on Credit Risk and Fraud Risk. This internship offers hands-on experience in

designing monitoring frameworks to identify and mitigate risk across the customer lifecycle.

The intern will work on developing internal risk scorecards, analyzing bureau and partner-

shared data, and recommending controls and risk insights that can be shared with banking

partners for implementation, as well as used internally to strengthen fraud mitigation

frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Credit and Fraud Risk Assessment

• Assist in identifying and assessing credit and fraud risks across acquisition and

portfolio management

• Support the development of risk scoring models by analyzing historical data and

trends.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key credit and fraud risk metrics.
• Support preparation of risk insights, portfolio reviews, and fraud alerts for senior stakeholders.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Business, Product, Engineering,
• Data Science and Design, ensuring alignment and execution across all

stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is a
